  • Spitfire Mk.I vs Bf109E

Many aircraft of the Royal Air Force and Luftwaffe fought in the skies over Britain in the summer of 1940, however there are no adversaries more iconic than the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.I and the Messerschmitt Bf109E. Both aircraft were at the cutting edge of fighter aircraft technology and were well matched in battle, though with different advantages and limitations. This model kit contains one of each aircraft, representing just one of the many documented dogfights between Spitfires and 109s during the Battle of Britain.
